The work behind the work
About Gramexa
Foundation.
A Section 8 company focused on practical, people-centred progress across rural India.
Who we are
Development is stronger when it is shared.
Gramexa Foundation is a non-profit organization working with communities around education, agriculture, livelihoods, skills and sustainable rural development.
We are building an organization that listens closely, works responsibly and makes room for local knowledge. Our focus is rural India, beginning from Uttar Pradesh and growing through relationships, learning and useful action.
Our direction
Clear purpose.
Open possibility.
Mission
To work alongside rural communities to expand education, opportunity, livelihoods and wellbeing through practical, sustainable initiatives.
Vision
Rural communities where people have the confidence, capability and access to shape a more equitable future.
Values
Respect, accountability, inclusion, learning and a deep belief in the agency of every community.
Our approach
Start with listening. Stay accountable.
We seek to understand before we act, to engage people as partners and to keep improving through reflection. Our work is designed to connect immediate usefulness with long-term community strength.
Each focus area is part of a wider picture: a learner needs opportunity, a farmer needs resilience, a young person needs skills and a village needs systems that can hold progress.
The people shaping this work
Leadership with purpose.
